Le voyage rêvé d’Alpha Deux

Il était une fois une petite fille née le même jour que son père, Alpha. Cette petite fille, c’est moi, Alpha deux. Et cette histoire, c’est la mienne. Depuis la mort de ma mère, je vis avec mon père. Il est journaliste, je l’écoute à la radio et nous jouons souvent au foot. Mais un jour, quand les soldats attaquent mon père et sa radio, il doit fuir. Avant de s’envoler sans moi, il me promet de me retrouver. Je suis seule mais je suis peule. Ma mère et moi sommes du peuple de l’eau.  Comme elle, je suis un poisson volant. j’aide mon père à traverser les airs, les déserts et les mers et se frayer son chemin jusqu’en Europe. Là-bas, je le retrouve. On peut enfin se poser – ensemble.
Et comme le dit la chanson, un petit poisson volant et un petit oiseau marin peuvent s’aimer d’amour tendre…

Once upon a time, there was a little girl, born the same day as her father, Alpha. That little girl, that’s me, Alpha Two. And this is my story. Since my mother died, I’ve been living with my father. He’s a journalist, I listen to him on the radio and we play football a lot. But one day, the soldiers attack my father and his radio station, forcing him to flee. Before he left, he promised to find me again. I’m alone, but I’m a Peuhl. My mother and I are water people. Like her, I’m a flying fish. I help my father cross the skies, deserts and seas to reach Europe. There, I meet him again. Together, we can finally land.
And as the song says, a little flying fish and a little seabird can love each other dearly…
